The Law Advisory Council consists of professionals who are graduates and friends of the College of Law school. The council was established in 1996 to assist and advise the dean and advance development in its broadest context.
The stated purposes of the Law Advisory Council are: 1) to promote the College of Law to a variety of constituencies; 2) to assist in identifying and acquiring additional resources and financial support for the College; 3) to serve as an advocate for the College of Law; 4) to give advice on the College's programs; 5) to help build working relationships with other colleges of the University of Idaho, and 6) to assist the College placement and recruitment programs.
