Give to Law
As alumni or a friend of the College of Law, you can help us successfully fulfill our mission to serve the state of Idaho and to become America's best small public law school. This is the time that our facilities, students, faculty and programs need your help.
Why Give?
1. We offer a unique educational experience, and you understand that. Your support will help future law students enjoy the same transformational education you received.
2. Your gifts make us stronger and help us expand opportunities for students. A strong College of Law producing strong, exceptional graduates is good for Idaho and the region.
3. The College of Law has the statewide mission to serve the people of Idaho. Your support of programs like our Pro Bono Initiative helps us and our students fulfill that mission.
Giving Opportunities
Facilities: Your support can help bring the Menard Building into the 21st Century. Private giving helped us complete a $1.3 million renovation to our courtroom, which is now one of the most technologically advanced in the country.
Students: There is fierce competition among law schools for the best and brightest students. Scholarships help the College of Law attract a student body that is not only academically first-rate, but also diverse in thought, background and experience.
Faculty: The faculty is the heart of the College of Law. Private gifts support faculty scholarship and research, allowing us to attract the best new talent and retain our most experienced and beloved faculty members.
Programs: We offer an experience unlike any other law school, and part of this is due to our unique and cutting edge programs like the Waters of the West Program and the Pro Bono Initiative. Donors also help bring national and internationally recognized speakers to campus through events like the annual Bellwood Lecture Series, which has brought three United States Supreme Court Justices, and numerous other legal scholars, to Moscow.
