Anthony J. "Tony" Riposta practices with Riposta, Lawyers LLC in New Jersey. He is a civil trial attorney with emphasis on plaintiff’s personal injury, wrongful death, workers’ compensation, criminal defense, and real estate law. He also practices mortgage review work and provides general counsel for American Federal Mortgage Corporation. Mr. Riposta received his B.A. in Economics from Princeton University in 1974 and received his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1979. During law school he clerked for the Honorable Roy E. Mosman in Idaho's Second Judicial District. After graduation he worked for the law firm of Leary & D'Ambrosio for several years. In 1984 he started his own firm. Mr. Riposta has been certified as a civil trial attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey since 1983.
Mr. Riposta was an accomplished student athlete at Princeton University. He participated in intercollegiate football and baseball, receiving the William Winston Roper Scholar-Athlete Award. He was also honored in 1974 as an All-Ivy League Baseball, First Team, player and in 1973 as an Academic All-American Football Player, Second Team. He and his wife Susan were married in 1976 and reside in Chester, Morris County, New Jersey. They have three daughters, Jamie S. Riposta, Esq., Katharine E. Siano and Mary Riposta and one son, Joseph A. Riposta and one grandson Joseph B. Siano.
