Description
The Vandal Card office produces a variety of cards for individuals indirectly or formerly affiliated with the University, and for community members who would like to utilize certain facilities at the University. These cards include student, faculty, and staff spouse cards, Alumni cards, Student Recreation Center cards, Swim Center cards, and Climbing Wall cards.

Visit the Vandal Card office in room 124 of the Student Union Building (SUB) to get these cards.
 Eligibility
Affiliate cards are available to students, faculty, staff, retirees, visitors, affiliates and community members.

Description
ITS Billing Services compiles IT service and communication charges for distribution to UI departments and non-UI entities. THe service provides budget review, account maintenance, invoice review and reconciliation and revenu tracking for ITS.
 Eligibility
ITS provides Billing Services for students, Faculty, Staff, Departments, Contracts, Affiliates and Vendors.
Cost Overhead costs are distributed to ITS and some other UI departments. ITS service rates are listed with other various ITS service areas.
Self Service Information Customers may access the billing database, Pinnacle, for budget invoice detail.

Provides access to all student computer labs and after-hour access to the administration building for employees.
 Eligibility
ITS provides building and room access outside of normal hours upon request to all current students, faculty, staff and departments.

Description
The Business Process Management Service provides a comprehensive workflow solution that can help departments and users streamline and improve efficiencies in their business processes. Anything from simple approval and notification processes to very complex cross-departmental business processes can be created, enhanced and/or improved with this service. The service is tied into the Universities Document Imaging System (Oracle Imaging), but can stand alone when no document imaging solution is required.

Database Design Consulting
Description
ITS/MIS provides assistance in database design for business application utilizing either Oracle or SQL Server RDBMS. Guidance can be provided for both relational and object-oriented database modeling efforts. ITS/MIS staff can either assist in the design effort or review completed designs before they are implemented in production. Designs will be evaluated for normalized structure and for performance considerations. Indexing, partitioning, file separation, and RAID configuration will also be considered. Assistance for performance tuning issues on existing databases is also available.
 Eligibility
ITS/MIS provides database design consulting to faculty, staff and departments at the University of Idaho.

Description
The Oracle Imaging Service provides a repository to store any electronic documents and easy retrieval and viewing for end users via a web based or installed desktop client. The system allows users to assign identifying values to those documents for easy searching, provides retention schedules for the documents, allows a scanner set up to scan and capture paper documents and provides a wide variety of security options so departments and users can control who can view, print, modify, annotate, and redact content on those documents.
 Eligibility
Oracle Imaging services are provided to faculty, staff and departments at the University of Idaho.

Technical Project Management

Technical Project Management
Description
ITS provides overall coordination of technical implementations or other large IT initiatives. This service includes requirement gathering, project scoping, timeline creation and identification and coordination of staffing resources.

Project manager will work with customer, as well as vendor if applicable, to identify all required activities and resource constraints in order to develop a realistic, achievable timeline. Once established, the project manager will work with project participants to achieve the identified project goals.

Description
Technology Support Services (ITS-TSS) is a one hundred percent cost recovery team designed to provide advanced client side technology support with a customer-centric emphasis. The goal of this service is to maximize our customer’s efficiencies/productivity for the institution while minimizing UI resources. This is accomplished by implementing hardware/software standards, forming vendor relationships, and a customer rapport focusing on trust and open communication.
 Eligibility
TSS service is available to faculty, staff and departments at the University of Idaho.
Cost $60/hr. There is a minimum of one hour charge and additional hours are charged in one-hour increments.
