Description
Inter/Intra Building Connectivity provides Voice, Wide Area Network (WAN), Metropolitan Area Network (MAN), and Local Area Network (LAN) connectivity via the Copper and Fiber Optic backbone systems to support the UI IT Infrastructure. This service supports a variety of Building Intelligence including Security Systems, Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC, elevators, and a variety of other services. These systems connect UI locations on and off the Moscow Campus.
 Eligibility
Cable Management support is available for all students, faculty, staff and departments at the University of Idaho.

Description
The Telecommunications team will help you establish your telephone requirements, provide a cost estimate, and identify your telecommunications needs including network data access, data port patching, provisioning of dial tone, procuring telephone sets, and all peripheral equipment necessary to support your requirements. This is to include adding telephone features to an existing set, removing features, and move telephone lines or circuits. Install telephone lines or disconnect telephone lines not used.
 Eligibility
Telecommuniation services are available to Students, Faculty, Staff, Departments, Visitors, Contractors, Alumni, Affiliates, Vendors

Description
Video conferencing allows faculty, staff and students from all over the world to communicate with and learn from each other, while avoiding the high costs and scheduling problems of travel. 

Additionally, a group can attend lectures, meetings, and conferences without leaving the office simply by setting-up VTC in one room, where viewers can remotely join the distant events via a full-screen television experience. 

The following are just a few of the features that the ITS Video Bridge offers: -Share content to show every participant your slides, spreadsheets, or documents.
 
-Provide IP connectivity for lower-cost connections. 
-Present enhanced, near high-definition, video quality for all participants. 
-Conduct a public forum without renting a hotel ballroom. 
-Record live meetings for on-demand viewing. 
-Host virtual meetings for town halls, councils, or classes.
 Eligibility
ITS provides video conferencing event support upon request to all current students, faculty, staff and departments.
Cost There is no charge for credited classes -
UI General Education. All non-credit classes will be charged at the
meetings and events rates. Please see Video Conferencing Event Request
service for more information on non-credit classes, events and
meetings.

Cost For meeting and events for UI Departments the charge $25 per hour per site with an additional $12.50 per hour per site for after-hours support.

For meeting and events for non-UI Departments the charge $50 per hour per site with an additional $50 per hour per site for after-hours support.

On-site equipment support – Moscow campus only (1/2 hour minimum) is $42 per hour.
