Description
ITS offers bulk mailing solutions for a large number (300+) of senders using custom mailman listservs for one time or recurring bulk mailing requests which conventional mail accounts are unable to do. Target recipients can include affiliated U of I faculty or staff, alumni, students or any other non-UI email addresses.
Eligibility
Bulk e-mailing is available to students, faculty, staff and departments at the University of Idaho.
Cost There is no fee associated with this service.

Description
Exchange accounts provide email, calendaring, scheduling and other administrative activities such as contact lists, tasks, etc. for faculty and staff. Microsoft Outlook 2010+ or Entourage for Mac email desktop clients are recommended for access to Exchange accounts. Outlook Web Access also provides a web-based interface for access to your Exchange account.
  • Access to all emails, schedules, appointments, attachments and meeting information using Microsoft Outlook Web Access from any internet browser through the Web App at http://mail.uidaho.edu.
  • 1GB storage space for emails, attachments, folders, calendars, tasks and other items on the Exchange account.
  • Virus scanning for Emails.
  • Secure and safe backup for all emails, schedules, appointments and meeting information on the Exchange server.
  • Delegate access and sharing for mail and calendars.
  • Exchange accounts can also be accessed from mobile devices such as iPhones and Androids.
  • Active SPAM filtering provided by ProofPoint.
Eligibility
Exchange services are provided to all faculty, staff and departments at the University of Idaho.
Cost There is no fee associated with this service. Additional inbox space may be purchased at about $6 per GB per month service charge.

Shared Drive File Hosting
Description
The S: or shared drive can be used to share a large number of files and data within a group of people. ITS can set up a personalized folder on the S: drive and an access control group, which can be used to control users' access. Shared drive space is a great use for shareable department projects.
 Eligibility
Shared drive file hosting is available to students, faculty, staff and departments at the University of Idaho.
Cost There is no fee associated with this service.

Description
The U: or User drive is your personal drive space on the University of Idaho server. The U drive can be accessed anywhere on campus by logging in using your NetID credentials to any University of Idaho machine. U drives can also be accessed off campus using VPN.

U drive file hosting is available to students, faculty, staff and departments at the University of Idaho.

Description
ITS offers web hosting on the University of Idaho shared drive for use in an academic or professional setting. Examples of acceptable use of webspace include departmental projects, organizations, professional professor websites, academic classwork and student websites for a particular class. All webspace requests must be made by a board-appointed faculty or staff member.
 Eligibility
ITS provides web hosting for students, faculty, staff and departments at the University of Idaho as long as the hosting meets an academic purpose.
Cost There is no fee associated with this service.
