Mission and Vision

Mission:
To provide a safe, secure, reliable, cost-effective, legally- and regulagory compliant central e-commerce solution to the University of Idaho, that meets the current and developing needs of the University community.

Vision:
We will make available to the University of Idaho community a set of services that allows them to develop applications and processes that involve the transfer of funds across the internet in a safe and secure manner. We will continuously enhance our services in order to meet the evolving needs of the University community.

Goals:
We will allow individual organizational units to husband their financial and human resources by leveraging existing technologies, banking arrangements and reconciliation processes to web-enable financial activities. This in turn will allow them to provide better communication and more timely service to a wider audience, enhancing the effectiveness of the institution as a whole.
We will mitigate the institutional risk of engaging in e-commerce activities by organizational units, which by their nature involve the storage and transmission of sensitive information, by providing safe, secure, reliable central e-commerce resources to the University of Idaho community.
