The ISSFS staff welcomes the opportunity to assist you. Through experience in international education and travels abroad, the ISSFS team draws upon their experiences to provide the services and programs that meet the needs of the UI international community.
Tammi Johnson
Coordinator, International Student, Scholar & Faculty Services
Tammi has over 9 years experience in international education and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of ISSFS and management of information systems containing data on UI international students, scholars and faculty. She advises international students and scholars on immigration matters as well as many other concerns. She also advises departments and faculty on H-1B immigration matters and the UI processes for labor certification applications and immigrant visa petitions. Tammi was born in Moscow, and raised in the state of Washington. She is a Washington State University (WSU) graduate and has settled in the area with her husband and two sons. Tammi appreciates your feedback on ISSFS services and enjoys meeting and serving students, scholars and faculty from around the world. Tammi is available for walk-ins or by appointment.
