Orientation Schedule

The International Programs Office (IPO) welcomes you to the University of Idaho!

Fall 2013 International Student Orientation Schedule

August 19, 20, 22 and 23 located in SUB (Student Union Building) Ballroom. Fall Orientation Schedule will be available by June 1.

Please be at all scheduled events on time. Use free time to meet with advisors, take placement tests, register for classes, and pay fees.

Representatives from local banks, community resources, and campus representatives will be available to answer your questions and help you with settling in to Moscow.

1:30 pm  Social Security Session (must attend if you wish to get a job or license):
  • If you have a job offer (assistantship or other on campus work), you can apply for a Social Security Number (SSN).  You must bring a job offer letter (required for SSN) and all of your entry documents (Passport, Visa, I-94, and I-20 or DS-2019).
  • If you do not have a job offer and wish to get a driver’s license or cell phone, then you will need to apply for a Letter of Denial from Social Security.  You must bring all of your entry documents (Passport, Visa, I-94, and I-20 or DS-2019).
