American Language and Culture Program
The University of Idaho American Language and Culture Program (ALCP) is an intensive English language program.
The ALCP offers 21 hours per week of instruction. Students may begin an eight-week course of study in January, March, August, or October or a six-week program in June.

Tuition and Fees
ACLP students should bring enough money to cover the cost of tuition and fees, health insurance, housing expenses, books and incidental expenditures. We recommend that students bring money in traveler's checks rather than cash. Students should carry all documentation of financial support for immigration purposes, as well as for registration with the ALCP.

Required items for issuance of I-20 document:
1. Application: Apply Now!
All data must be correct and complete, errors on the I-20 resulting from faulty data result in the need for re-application, including repayment of the application fee.
2. $70 Application fee by credit card, check or money order
Application processing will occur after full payment is received.
3. Financial documents: bank statement, sponsor letter, and financial guarantee form.
Bank statement must be in applicant's name or sponsor's name.
Applicants must submit a letter from the sponsor indicating intent to fund studies and living expenses for the duration of study within ALCP; and the financial guarantee form.
