Household Goods Exchange
The Household Goods Exchange offers community members the opportunity to donate used, but usable household goods directly to students who often arrive on campus with just a suitcase. Tax receipts are offered for donations.
Students leaving campus also donate furnishings to the program, keeping usable items out of the waste stream.
Students do not pay to borrow furnishings, but they sign a waiver promising to return the items before they leave campus.
The Household Goods Exchange Program is open to borrow or receive donations from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sundays on non-holiday weekends and by appointment. The program is closed for the month of July.
