ALCP Application
Before applying to the American Language and Culture Program (ALCP), a student must meet these minimum requirements:
- Be at least 17 years old
- Have completed secondary school at the time of ALCP enrollment
- Present evidence of financial support for all expenses while studying in ALCP (minimum of $4,200 for each session attended)
How to Apply to ALCP
There are several required items for issuance of an I-20 document, I-20 application:

Application: Online Application
Data must be correct and complete. Errors on the I-20 resulting from faulty data result in the need for reapplication, including repayment of the application fee. -
$65 Application fee
The application fee may be paid by credit card, check or money order. Processing will occur after full payment is received. -
Financial documents
Financial documents include a bank statement and a sponsor letter. The bank statement must be in applicant's name or the sponsor's name; applicants must submit a letter from the sponsor indicating intent to fund studies and living expenses for the duration of study within ALCP. Certificate of Financial Responsibility, signed by sponsor
The Certificate of Financial Responsibility (CFR) is also known as the financial guarantee form. This form will be sent to the applicant from ALCP after he/she completes the online application. The CFR must be signed by the applicant’s sponsor.
