Programs - Sport - Specific Excellence Funds - $2 Million

Summer school funding allows our student-athletes to accelerate and maintain their paths toward graduation. Creating a fund for each sport that provides additional funding necessary to fund the student-athlete summer school needs provides our department with “margin of excellence” funding. “Margin of excellence” funds further enhance the student-athlete experiences and provides them with the equipment and tools necessary to maximize their opportunities at Idaho.

Since the beginning of the campaign, donors have contributed and pledged to our sport-specific excellence accounts such as the Quarterback Club, Roundball Club, Striker Club, Volleyball Excellence Fund, and Tennis Excellence Fund. These funds provide these sports with “margin of excellence” support that helps maximize the student-athlete experience.
