The AirVandalGold Setup tool installs the necessary certificates and automatically configures your machine to connect to AirVandalGold. Please note this tool is designed to be used by Windows 7 and later machines.
We no longer provide a tool for Apple computers. Please see our instructions for setting up your connection on a Mac:
Linux users will need to manually add the following two certificates - AddTrustExternalCARoot and wireless.uidaho.edu - to be able to connect to AirVandalGold.
This script allows System Administrators to easily join desktop or laptop machines to the university's Active Directory domain. If you are not a system administrator, ITS strongly recommends you contact the ITS Help Desk with assistance in joining your machine to AD.
This script will automatically map your User and Shared drives on your machine if you are having issues with them being mapped properly. Please note that you will need to have VPN active before using this script if you are on a laptop while off-campus.
PuTTY is a free telnet/ssh client most commonly used on the Windows operating system.
