Course Description

LibS 424 Information Sources on the Internet for Libraries (3 UI). Principles of development and trends in Internet information resources that libraries access and use; emphasis on searching, evaluating, and providing to patrons needed reference material.

Prerequisites: There are no formal prerequisites for this course, but your instructor recommends having a basic understanding of electronic mail (e-mail). The course is availalbe only electronically via software, and an e-mail account is needed in order to establish good communication between the instructor and students.
