Project Description:
CSHQA Architects and the Integrated Design Lab held an Integrated Design Charrette in December of 2004 looking for opportunities to create high quality teaching and learning spaces while also saving energy. The charrette was the kick-off to ongoing coordination with the design team on daylighting design, electric lighting and daylight integration and HVAC systems concepts. Columbia high school was completed on time and on budget, is comfortable for teachers and students and saves energy. Doors opened in fall of 2006.
