Jim Lyle Award

This award was created in 1991 and recognizes the outstanding contributions of any living individual or couple who has shown long-term dedication and service to the University and/or the Alumni Association through volunteerism. The award is named in honor of Jim Lyle, who served with great distinction as University of Idaho alumni secretary (director) from 1946-1969. Nominations may not be submitted for persons currently holding or running for an elected political office. Consideration will be given for long-term dedication to: service to the University of Idaho, which could include colleges, departments, alumni groups, student organizations or campus service groups; and service to the University of Idaho Alumni Association, which could include constituent groups, specific events, major projects or local chapter level service.
