Hello Vandals and Vandal Friends,
Welcome to the Arizona Club Alumni Web site. My name is E. Whitney Johnson, and I am currently serving as President of the Club. I’ve lived in the Valley of the Sun since 1982 and have met a lot of great Vandals that have also found themselves in Arizona. There are quite a few Vandals that live, vacation, work and/or play in Arizona and we want to include everyone when we have our gatherings. We’ve had some wonderful events over the past year and will have many more in 2009. Come back to this site often and look for information about upcoming events.
Our club directives are as follows:
- Have fun!!!
- Identify, communicate/market and manage Alumni gatherings throughout the year in Arizona.
- Connect and network with fellow Vandals in Arizona.
- Promote the University of Idaho in all that we do.
- Encourage participation and exhibit enthusiasm within the Alumni base throughout Arizona.
- Have FUN, yet again!!!!
As you can see, having fun is our primary goal and we exceed that expectation every time we get together. Being Vandals, that’s no surprise! Please contact me or any of the other folks that serve on our Planning Committee. We would love to hear from you.

Upcoming Events:
It looks like this could be a special season and we are happy and excited to announce the 2009 Vandal Football Watch Party Schedule. This year we will meet at one of the largest sports bars in the Valley, Padre Murphy's. Padre Murphy's is located on the northwest corner of 43rd Avenue and Bell Road. A link to their site is attached below. Padre Murphy's will have a large section reserved for the Vandal games and they also have off track betting and excellent food. Prize drawings for Vandal-related items will be held at halftime of each game. We hope to see you all there for our four Watch Party games, especially the big game against BSU on 11-14-09. As you will see, the first game is this coming Saturday, 10-3-09 against Colorado State. Note: The kickoff time for this game has been moved to 7:30 PT in order to accomodate the ESPNU schedule. Let's start the Watch Party season off right with a big crowd of Vandals and Vandal supporters for this game.
