Library Services

University of Idaho students have access to both electronic and print resources from the university’s library. UI Idaho Falls students may access the UI’s Moscow-based library, borrow materials through interlibrary loan, take advantage of the Idaho National Laboratory Technical Library, and have access to the resources of our partner institution, Idaho State University.

The resources of University of Idaho Library may be accessed via the library’s website and logging in with a Vandal email address and password. If you have questions about accessing information resources from off-campus in both print and electronic formats, are interested in information resources pertinent to your discipline, or have general research questions, please contact the distance education librarian at (208) 885-2503.

Students may request print books be mailed to them at no cost, and may contact librarians for assistance finding any needed materials. The UI Library may be accessed at non-UI connected computers by anyone with a UI Library card.

Your Idaho Vandal ID Card may be used as your library card, or call (208) 885-6843 or email to receive a barcode number.
