Visitor Parking Permits
Parking permits are required for all interviewees, vendors, consultants and visitors to the University of Idaho campus.
Once the interview committee has confirmed the date, place and time for the candidate interviews, it will be important to provide the interviewee with instructions for parking at the University of Idaho. Interviewees will need to know where and how to get their visitor parking permits.
In general, departments should arrange to have visitor parking passes available for interviewees, however, if your department does not have a visitor parking permit arranged, visitor permits are available for purchase for $2 per day at the Parking Office. The Parking Office is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is located on the corner of 3rd and Line Street, across from the Student Recreation Center.
Following the interview process and upon final offer and candidate acceptance of employment with the University of Idaho, new employees will need instructions on how to purchase their employee parking permits. Managers should provide new employees with directions to University Parking and with the online web link to the University parking office for the purposes of purchasing their employee parking pass.
