Employee Recognition
Staff are an integral part of the University of Idaho community. The Staff Affairs Committee is dedicated to studying the issues, problems, welfare, and working conditions of staff. The Committee represents all board-appointed employees from all campuses and centers of the University of Idaho community.
Awards are given to staff that have shown exemplary dedication and have gone above and beyond their normal job duties at the University of Idaho. Staff who qualify for the award are nominated by their peers and reviewed through an award process conducted by the Staff Affairs Staff Awards subcommittee. Additionally, those staff retiring from the university will receive a plaque and clock and longevity awards will be given for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 years of service to current employees.
