People > Andreas Finkelmeyer (alumnus) What is he doing now? Andreas is now at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in applied experimental psychology there. Andreas finished his Master's thesis in the Summer of 2002 on the topic of "Spatial Reference Systems in the Perception of Rotational Motion". He recently presented parts of his thesis at the 2003 annual HFES meeting in Denver, for which he received the "best student paper" award of the Perception and Performance Technical Group. His current research interests are still centered on virtual environments and how these technologies can be applied in a variety of clinical settings.
