Here are snapshots of some recent graduates that include their major or majors, and whether they received the UHP Core Award (19 honors credits) or UHP Certificate (27 honors credits). Not cited are the many other accomplishments and awards achieved by these and other students who have graduated from the university and the UHP in the past year.

Winnemucca, Nev.
Dance, Psychology/UHP Core Award
Heather plans to audition for dance productions and companies and will attend a Dance Movement Therapy Intensive in New Hampshire to incorporate dance and psychology to help a wide age range of clients. She plans to pursue either a Masters in Dance Movement Therapy or an MFA to enable her to become a Dance Professor at an educational institution.

Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics-General Opt./UHP Core Award
This fall, Alec begins a Ph.D program in Aerospace Engineering with an emphasis in dynamics and control, at the University of Kansas.

This summer, Caroline will intern at Cargill (Minneapolis) performing food ingredient research. She will study abroad in Santiago, Chile this fall and start graduate graduate studies in health and wellness or food chemistry fall 2012.

Kelsie has accepted a graduate research assistantship to pursue a Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the University of Idaho.

Amber will work for several months as assistant manager at the Taylor Wilderness Research Station; she's also working with a faculty member to develop a Masters project in ornithology and education that would start in the spring of 2012.

Ella hopes to enter into a PhD Neuroscience program in the United Kingdom within the next few years--she's looking at jobs in biology labs to gain some experience.
