Friends of the Stillinger Herbarium

Although the herbarium is fortunate to have support from the C.R. Stillinger Trust to fund specific herbarium activities, such as graduate students pursuing collections based botanical research at the University of Idaho, in 2003 the Friends of the Herbarium was established. It was established for fundraising to cover expenses not explicitly covered by the trust. Through generous donations, this program has allowed for activities such as, the purchase and upgrade of equipment, hosting of the annual Pacific Northwest Herbarium Conference, and the establishment of the Friends of the Herbarium Lecture Series. We welcome your continued support of this important program!
