Academic/Scholarship Activities:

The men of Beta Theta Pi hold academics to a high standard. Our men are very proud of the academic achievements they have made, including being one of the top scholarship programs on campus. Programs such as study table, and our Mentor system helps us secure top tier grades. Our chapter gives away several scholarships throughout the year, to men going through fraternity fall rush and to our undergraduate members. Last year the chapter awarded over $5,000 to undergraduate members of our chapter.

Philanthropic/Community Service Projects:
Giving back to our community is a great way for us to be involved. There are many activities and projects that we are a part of including, Adopt-A-Highway, 3 on 3 Basketball tournament for the Red Cross, Lunch Auction for a Rape Crisis Center, Halloween haunted house canned food drive, wood cut for the community, hosting and volunteering at blood drives, and participating in the sorority philanthropies. Last year alone we had just about 1000 of community service hours.

Social/Campus Activities:
Every man is involved in some type of activity on campus whether it be U of I senate, Ski Team, Club Lacrosse, or a variety of other clubs on campus. Promoting a balanced experience in college, we also have many social activities including our formal Beta Grip dance, Fall Cruise, and a spring camping trip called “Spring Fling” among many others.
