Some facts about our house:

  • Oldest national chapter on campus.
  • Four story accommodations with no sleeping porch.
  • House is equipped with two man rooms, a TV room, two parlors, large kitchen and dining room, laundry facilities, and front and rear patio sundecks.

  • Some facts about our Chapter:

  • We are the oldest fraternity at the University of Idaho, founded in 1905.
  • Winner of the Founders Award for Chapter Excellence four straight years, awarded to the top 5% of Kappa Sigma chapters in the country.
  • Winner of the Boyd House Prize for the best maintained Kappa Sigma chapter house in the country.

  • Scholarship:

  • We have the largest endowment fund of any fraternity. International scholarships are granted for leadership and scholastic achievement.
  • Local alumni based scholarships available.
  • We hold the largest leadership training conference in the fraternal world.
  • We have a house-wide scholarship program to encourage studying and to instill strong study skills for the scholastic requirements which are a necessity in order to obtain a successful college career. We keep academics a top priority at Kappa Sigma.
