Kappa Krush: This dance is a t-shirt, set-up your roommate dance. Upon location there is a live DJ, pizza and soda for you and your date. It is held at East City Park so you and your date can boogie the night away under the stars.

Sapphire Ball: This is the Kappa Formal. This dance takes a little more preparation than the previous dance. About a week before the dance all the Kappa’s dress up and serenade to formally ask their dates to the dance. The serenading is a fun way to pump up not only your sisters but also your date for the big event.

Big Chill: This dance is held in January, shortly after resuming for the spring semester of school. This is also a casual dance. Sweatshirts for you and your date are designed by the juniors.

Spring Fling: This year we will be holding the spring fling as a semi-formal/cocktail dress party with the Pi Beta Phi sorority. We will be hosting this with them to remind us our close ties to their house, since we were both founded at Monmouth College in Illinois.

Kappa Freshmen all going out to breakfast early one morning!

Date Dinners: We hold two of these a year, Christmas Date dinner and Valentines Date dinner. Sisters are encouraged dress up and invite friends, male or female, to join the Kappa’s for dinner.

These are just a few of our planned events. Kappa’s also engage in several other activities such as BBQ’s with surrounding fraternities, tie exchanges and etiquette dinners.
