Hole 5 is ranked easiest on the front nine; however, it can become very difficult to par if your tee shot is long or to the right. The sand trap on the left can easily come into play, but many times the ball will find a way through or around it. If you have a high handicap, remember, there is more margin for error on the left side. The green slopes towards the right front edge. With the tee markers lying at 171, 147, and 108 yards, make sure you consider the wind when hitting down onto the green.
