Hole 8 can be a very challenging par four, an easy birdie, or a score killer. Keep in mind the creek on the right side of the fairway before you tee it up. Your tee shot must be hit far enough to get a look around the sweeping dog-leg to the left, but if you hit too far, you'll be in the rough, or even in the trees. The second shot (below left) is to an elevated, two-tiered green. The front half of this green slopes from back to front, but the back half is fairly flat. Hole 8 plays at 375 yards from the back tees and 334 yards from the middle tee markers. The front tees are listed at 326 yards, but they play closer to 300 yards with the new tee box.
