Housing

The University of Idaho is a residential campus where 92 percentĀ of freshmen choose to live on campus in one of the 28 residence halls, nine sororities or 15 fraternities. There's also apartment-style housing reserved for upperclassmen and families. Overall, about 40 percentĀ of the University of Idaho student body lives on campus.

Tours are available for each living option:

  • The residence hall tour begins at Wallace Complex, the "hub" of activity where residents have access to the main dining hall, game room, computer lab and the all-important mailboxes.
  • Tours of our sororities and fraternities are available throughout the academic year. A different chapter house is showcased each week with house members who guide the tour and describe the unique advantages of being part of the Greek community.
