Apartments and Families
Apartment Housing at the University of Idaho provides a unique community-focused living option for nontraditional students (those over 25 years of age, graduate and law students, married couples, or students with children).
This is an ideal atmosphere for those pursuing a graduate degree. The units in GSR are furnished, one person, studio apartments. Each unit includes a single bed, table, chair, dresser, micro-fridge, kitchen sink, and two stove-top burners. Units also include a private bathroom with a bathtub and a large closet.
Elmwood is an apartment community for single students aged 19 years and older, same gender roommates, or married couples. The building is conveniently located near the Buchanan Engineering Building and the McClure Science Hall and is a 5-minute walk to the center of campus.
South Hill Apartments are unfurnished, multilevel units ranging from one to three bedrooms. These units are situated amidst a forest setting and a close to the Community Center and picnic areas. There are two nearby playgrounds and paved sidewalks throughout.
South Hill Vista Apartments are unfurnished, multilevel units located in the southeast corner of campus. Two, three, and four bedroom units are available — each of which offers a private storage unit. South Hill residents enjoy evenings on the playground, family barbecues, and tranquil open green space.
