Rules and Responsibilities

The Faculty Staff Handbook contains the following sections that specifically address ethical conduct of faculty.

• 3170 - University Ethics -  statements of ethics with respect to instruction and scholarship, rules of ethical conduct and reporting of unethical behavior 
• 3260 - Professional Consulting and Additional Workload  -  The policy requires employees to seek approval prior to engaging in outside consulting and to report outside consulting. 
• 6240 - Conflicts of Interest or Commitment - addresses conflict of interest, employment of relatives, loyalty oaths and professional and labor organizations 
• 6241 - Nepotism - expands on the employment of relatives in section 6240
• 6242 - Organizations and Oaths
