Project Information

Education Building Renovation
The College of Education Building will undergo a 17 million dollar renovation from August 2014 until July 2016. During that time the building will be renovated to abate asbestos, improve HVAC, repair exterior skin, improve space efficiency, and modernize other systems. It is anticipated that the renovated building will achieve LEED Gold Certification.

North Campus Entry Gateways Project
Brick gateway monuments will be constructed in the style of the existing gateway at Sweet Avenue. Construction is expected to last until late-September and will occur at Perimeter Drive, Stadium Drive, and Line Street. Please click the link for previews of the proposed construction.

This building is the culmination of valued partnerships between the College of Natural Resources, alumni, friends and the Idaho forest industry. Highlighting Idaho forest products, this beautiful and energy efficient facility will serve as a real-world example and laboratory demonstrating value-added building with wood. Once completed, the results will be enhanced learning opportunities, research capacity and service to the Idaho forest industry.

Paradise Creek Ecosystem Restoration
and stadium drive extension
This project encompasses the restoration and rehabilitation of certain reaches of Paradise Creek located on the campus of the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. This ecosystem restoration project is proposed in cooperation with the University of Idaho (sponsor). The University of Idaho prepared a master plan in 2000, which includes rehabilitating Paradise Creek not only for environmental improvements but also for flood control., storm water management, and positive visual impact as an entry feature to the campus.
