Facilities Services is actively integrating sustainable practices into building construction and operations at the University of Idaho. The financial benefits include lower energy, waste disposal, water and operation and maintenance costs, lower environmental impact, and increased productivity and health for the University community. Removed many years ago, the cupola at the Art and Architecture South building has been replaced. Resembling the original design, this new cupola will provide energy saving passive cooling during hot summer days.
