Sitecore Training Videos

Welcome to the Sitecore training page. The videos and documentation found here will give you a basic understanding of Sitecore and how to create and edit University of Idaho Web sites. 

Before using Sitecore, and participating in the tutorials, you will need a username and password. To obtain the proper credentials contact your organization's Web Coordinator. 

NOTE: For a better (full size) view experience download the Adobe Connect Add-in. It is available for Windows and Macintosh users.

This training material will provide a good overview of Sitecore; however, it does not replace the hands on training developed by University Communications and Marketing. Speak with your Web Coordinator to reserve a seat at the next training seminar.

• Introduction—The introduction will give you a high-level overview of Sitecore. 
• Ribbon Walkthrough—This section will cover the functionality contained in the Sitecore ribbon and how you will interact with it. 
• Microsite Intro and Editor Walkthrough—This segment will introduce the Microsite template and content editor. The editor is used to add/remove content from a Web site, so a good understanding of this environment is essential.
• Building a Microsite—This video will take you through a step by step process of building a Microsite. The Microsite Tutorial (in the documentation section) mirrors the process.
