Latah 4-H Projects
A 4-H project is a series of sequential educational materials, experiences and expectations, that support leaders and members in developing life skills in a focused area of interest. Each project has a specific beginning and ending.
A project manual and/or leader’s guide provides direction to complete the project in order to reach a certain educational level in the subject.
Projects vary in difficulty according the age and experience of the member and provide an abundance of useful real-life experiences.
A record book is required with each project, giving the member the opportunity to record what was learned and accomplished, list income and expenses, and detail goal setting and oral presentation information.
The General Record Book is used for all projects except animal projects. If the project is “breathing”, then the Animal Record Book is used instead.
