4-H and Youth Programs
More than 6.5 million young people across America make friends and have fun while learning leadership, citizenship and life skills each year through 4-H programs. Activities focus on healthy living, citizenship, science, engineering and technology.
Latah County youth can experience 4-H by becoming a member of a club, attend CL2N 4-H Summer Camp, participate in a project camp, attend area summer day camps or afterschool 4-H programs.
Latah 4-H Clubs
Member and Leaders decide what their 4-H club does. Usually clubs focus on one or more topics. They conduct project-related activities, do community service, and have fun!
Find the best fit for your 4-H’er. Look up Latah County 4-H Clubs by community location, by the projects offered, or consider where your youngster has friends or relatives participating.
For assistance in choosing a club, contact the Latah County Extension Office by calling (208) 883-2267, or email Kelli Loftus at kloftus@uidaho.edu.
A 4-H membership is $10.00 a year; families with more than three youngsters pay a capped fee of $30.00 for their youth.
