The University of Idaho Extension offers “Healthy Eating with Diabetes: A Nutrition Education Workshop” to teach individuals how to successfully manage their diabetes through healthy eating habits. Shelly Johnson, M.S., teaches the program and is interested in helping people make the changes necessary to be successful in managing their diabetes. Learn more.
Afternoon and evening classes, beginning this February, cover everything from growing organic fruit trees to landscaping for fire prevention. These classes are available to everyone and cost just $5 per class. Learn more.
