4-H Leaders

We value our volunteer leaders. We provide training, including statewide online training. We also encourage ideas and education through our Leaders' Council.

All leaders meet on the fourth Monday of odd-numbered months and meet at the Latah County Fairgrounds unless otherwise noted.

  • Horse Leaders — 5:30-6 p.m.
  • Livestock Leaders — 6-6:30 p.m.
  • Leader's Council — 6:30 p.m.

4-H Volunteer E-Learning Modules

This WSU Volunteer Training course is a great introduction to volunteering for 4-H if you’re new to 4-H, an experienced leader or a parent.

Take the Volunteer E-Learning Modules through the Washington State University website.

  • Password: volunteer
  • Enter IDAHO as the state

If you do not have access to a computer, the course can be taken at Latah County's UI Extension office or at your local library.

Standing committees function under the authority of the council and perform necessary functions to benefit the Latah County 4-H membership and program.

Current standing committees include Horse and Animal Projects.

Other standing or special committees may be formed based on the needs of the program and are under the authority of the Council.
