Conducts research on cereal varietal adaptation, cropping systems, crop management and cereal root disease

Integrates efforts of cereal researchers and specialists, county agents, industry representatives and commodity groups to develop educational programs, newsletters, publications, field demonstrations, films, videos and computer programs
Cooperates with university, federal and other public and private personnel in Idaho and surrounding states
Responsibilities: Website publishing, organizing fertility trials, fungicide trials, new variety updates, quality data and table updates, technology and equipment maintenance. Assists growers in cereal agronomic and disease management decisions.
Responsibilities: Fusarium Head Blight ratings, isolation and culturing pathogens and associated laboratory work, preparation of disease inoculum, disease ratings, sample collection and statistical analyses.
