Small Grains
Use the best management practices of UI Extension for crop-related activities as you grow five acres of small grains under written contract to a parent or landlord. This real world project includes land selection, seedbed preparation, planting, soil testing, fertilizing, cultivating, irrigation and pest control. Prepare an operating budget and keep accurate records of all labor, materials and practices.
