Nebraska Sewing Curriculum (pilot)

sewing national

In Sewing For Fun learn to use and care for sewing equipment and a sewing machine, select fabrics and notions, sew straight and curved seams and square corners, and make four different projects. In Clothing Level 1, select a pattern, choose fabric and notions, and sew something to wear. With Clothing Level 2 develop your sewing skills by exploring pattern and fabric selection; consider optical illusions of color, line and texture; and construct and model a complete outfit.
