Theatre Arts
In Becoming a Puppeteer, you will learn that puppets are found in almost every culture. Make sock, rod, and found object puppets; explore light and shadow in puppetry; build a theater or stage, and write and perform a puppet show.
In Setting the Stage, you will use costume pieces to create a character. Design costumes, build sets and set models, design and apply makeup, collect hand and set props, create sound effects and musical sounds, light a model set, select a script and determine sound and lighting cues, create a play promptbook.
