Volunteer Shooting Sports Instructor E-Learning Modules
These modules were developed by several western states (Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, and Nevada) to enhance the 4-H Shooting Sports certification process.
There are 11 modules (plus 8-11 hours of face-to-face discipline training) volunteer instructors will need to complete in order to receive volunteer certification. Module 3 is not available, but all other modules must be completed.
Viewers will need Microsoft PowerPoint to complete the online modules. To request paper copies of the materials and quizzes, contact Dr. Carrie Stark, State 4-H Shooting Sports Coordinator, at cstark@uidaho.edu.
At the end of each module there is an online quiz which must be completed to receive credit for the module. 4-H shooting sports certification will not be issued until all quizzes have been completed.
Leaders who have already completed the E-Learning Modules for Working with Youth should provide copies of their certificates or the dates they completed those modules. They may be brought to the discipline training.
