Scholarships for Volunteers

Funding is available on a competitive basis to help 4-H volunteers pay to attend leadership opportunities in and around Idaho, in the western region, and at national 4-H leadership events.

State Leaders’ Association Scholarships

The Western Region Leaders’ Forum Scholarship provides $50 to $200 to help volunteers attend the Western Regional Leaders’ Forum. Priority goes to first-time attendees who submit an application. Funds remaining after “first-timer” awards have been made are divided equally among remaining applicants.

In addition, first-time attendees at the State Leaders’ Forum have priority in a drawing for a $50 scholarship. Attendees must be present at the forum when their names are drawn.
