4-H Awards, Contests and Scholarships

4-H Scholarships

In addition to county scholarships offered through county offices to 4-H members, Idaho 4-H offers scholarships to teens, college students, and adult leaders. These scholarships are funded by the Idaho Friends of 4-H and other nonprofit organizations.

Idaho 4-H recognizes significant achievement by 4-H teens with statewide awards in horsemanship and leadership.

4-H State Contests

4-H members ages 8 and up may compete for awards at many levels, but teens may participate in statewide contests in horsemanship, sewing, and beekeeping.

The 4-H halls of fame recognize individuals and organizations that have had a significant impact on the 4-H program and its members and leaders.
