Student Organizations

Student organizations provide activities that are considered an important part of the college experience outside the classroom. These organizations enrich the personalities of students and help them understand the need for lifelong learning and continued professional development for a successful and rewarding career.

They also serve in the following ways:

  • by encouraging students to accept responsibility for leadership roles in their profession, in their communities, and in society;
  • by providing an organized mentoring program, tutoring, support, and building a sense of cohesiveness;
  • by engaging them in activities;
  • and by encouraging them to stay in engineering and pursue professional careers in industry or academia at the end of their study journey.
