Judges are an important part of the EXPO experience for University of Idaho senior design students. Judges review design products and processes and their evaluations serve as the basis for EXPO student team awards.
The interaction between students and judges create opportunities for students to gain new insight and to learn about diverse engineering career paths.
Judging opportunities are available for booth and poster exhibits, as well as technical presentations. Booth or poster judges examine up to 10 entries. Technical session judges attend 5 to 6 technical presentations. Judging takes place on Friday, April 27.
Judges spend around 2.5 hours on April 27 working with and evaluating student teams, and are also invited to the Dean's Reception on Thursday, April 26 at 5:30 p.m. at the Best Western University Inn.
