Explore the exciting world of engineering design and innovation VIRTUALLY, and at the same time win $200 for your favorite math or science teacher!
Here's how:
- Beginning March 26, you can visit www.uidaho.edu/expo and EXPLORE projects from last year and this year.
- Click on "$200 for Teachers" link and take the short quiz to test your EXPO and engineering knowledge.
- Spread the word! Encourage your classmates to learn about the Engineering Design EXPO and take the quiz. The ten teachers who have the most student participation (and correct answers) will win $200 to use for exciting classroom projects.
- If you are lucky enough to attend EXPO in person on April 27 – you can also sign up your teacher at the day of the event.
The Engineering Design EXPO "$200 for Teachers" challenge will take place March 26-April 27.
Winners will be posted on the EXPO website and announced during the EXPO award ceremony on April 27.
To qualify for the $200 prize, your teacher must:
- Teach a math or science class for a middle school or high school (Grades 7-12)
- School must be in Idaho or a neighboring state (Washington, Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada)
- Ten teachers with the most student participation (and correct answers) will be awarded $200 for classroom use
