My
research interests are in the broad area of measurements and modeling
of hydrologic and environmental systems. As such, I have worked on a variety
of projects, including developing subsurface hydrocarbon measurement techniques,
analyzing the effects of tillage and reconsolidation on soil-water retention
characteristics, exploring the effects of scale and spatial variability
of soil properties on hydrologic response, and developing numerical methods
for routing discontinuous surface water flows over infiltrating surfaces.
